Help me thwart this annoying company!
Hey guys, there is a company called "USA Auto Sales" that is scraping phone numbers from Craigslist auto ads and plugging them into their computer system. Then their recorded message gets blasted to each seller, asking the seller to leave a message so that USA can call them back to sell their sales service.
I can't get them to stop calling me. Seriously, I've gotten three calls from their computer, and I have left messages asking them to stop calling. I did finally talk to a human, but when he realized that I didn't want to buy his service he hung up on me. Then I got another recorded call.
You can help. Do me a favor and call the number listed below. Leave a message with a fake year, make and model, fake phone number and fake name, and ask them to call back as soon as possible. Make it sound real, if they want to waste the time of real people that are using a legitimate free service then let's waste their time.

If you get a real person just ask them to stop stealing phone numbers from Craigslist and try developing a real business model that doesn't involve annoying a ton of people every day.
Post your fake year/make/model when you have left a message. Let's see how far out there we can get.

umm seriously scionlife invest in a air horn start talking like you are interested and then start talking softer and softer as the conversation goes on. then pop in ear plugs and then rap the airhorn button. take out ear plugs and listen for dial tone. if everyone tries this then i am willing to bet. they will stop calling you...lol
Hehe, well after more research I realized that this company is a much worse deal than I thought. Not only are they super annoying and don't have any ethics regarding cold calling, but they sell $500 packages guaranteed to get your car sold and then take the money and run. I wish I were in Vegas so I could visit them in person!
I have an auto dialer in my office - I'll hook it up to my fax line and start calling. They will get repeated calls with that wonderful fax screech over and over and over again. And our number is blocked
