Nice 3D work. you should give it one of those chrome paint jobs! Set a city scene as the background and throw on the chrome paint! That would be crazy. Speaking of crazy I got one more entry, hope I finish in time! Otherwise good luck to everyone who entered.

Introducing the Scion tM...

This is the first ever modular car, produced specifically for the tuning crowd. The car comes in two versions a pickup and a sedan - but the rear half of the car is interchangable!!! You can buy either the sedan version or the pickup - but you can also buy both by buying the pickup with the sedan module.

The rear half of the car is attached by velcro reinforced with superstrong electromagnets making it a breeze to change the car from sedan to pickup with the push of a button.

The Scion tM has plenty of space in the engine compartment and comes with a toyota V6 as standard. But the Scion tM is also the first japanese car to be offered with a domestic engine - the mopar 5.7L HEMI magnum - in recognition of the fact that there is a lot of quality aftermarket parts for the HEMI engine.

First time post(er) hopefully this works:

And

For the first model I designed (xL), I was thinking that since SCION is a youth oriented brand, WHAT IF some youths enjoyed sport sedans? Personally I own a tC and I enjoy coupes. In todays society however, we have more and more young kids starting families at younger ages and not everyone enjoys or wants a minivan. The xL is baisically a 4 door tC but obviously it looks different. Its more luxury and has more power. I decided also that $18,490 seemed a good price because Scion is known for its well equip cars at such a low price with the no Hagle no hassle policy. As you can tell I am not the best "alloy Wheel Drawer" but I decided it should have the same as the tC's, with also the YOKOHAMA low profile tires. The Interior would be somewhat similar to its sibling the tC, but with optional navigation, and a much more sportier interior though such as its cousin the IS300. The new sporty Sedan with also atleast 40 accesories to choose from, make it your own!

As for the xLT, which is also new for 2006, xLT standing for Large Truck will be the first of its kind for scion. No much description here yet, but as a hint it will share the soul of the Tacoma. The xL will share the engine with the Solara but with finer tuning, it achieves more power. the xLT will have standard V6 engine like the regular Tacoma's but with a more sport feel to it and a different look. Scion is known for its unique design, which is why the xLT will be set apart from other trucks seen in todays market. 18 inch allow wheels standard, and same features you would find on a SCION, how could truck lovers resist?

That concludes my introduction on the two new entry level models for Scion, enjoy!

TORRANCE, Calif., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS),
U.S.A., Inc., today announced that they were throwing in the towel on the youth marketed brand, Scion, and will instead convert it to an ever growing baby boomer generation that grew up on the roads. Effective immediately all remaining stock of the popular urban utility vehicle, xB, the problematic coupe, tC, and the poor selling hatchback, xA will be sold through. Jim Farley, Scion Vice President said, "We gave it our best shot, but in the end just decided we couldnt crack that coveted 16-24 age group". Jim Press, TMS Executive Vice President and COO explained, "Toyota likes the image that the and industry buzz that the Scion brand has created but we're going to refocus it towards the active adult market".

In a related annoucement that stunned the press and bloggers alike they have announced the all new 2006 Scion xV. A Full Featured recreational vehicle.

The All New Scion xV is a 36' long House on Wheels and is expected to have a base MSRP under $50,000. Farley, excitedly talked about the xV and all its hip new features. "The exciting thing is we were able to cram all this great stuff in it a 36" foot long vehicle so we took the engine and the sunroof of the tC, the overall boxiness of the xB, and well the x part of the logo off the xA and put it into the xV".

Features of the xV

1. The innovative collapsable second story. "This is a Scion exclusive very much like the VW MiniBus of the past except we made a whole second floor"

2. The Panoramic Glass Ceiling "Again another Scion exclusive here you will really get to experience nature"

3. Rear View Camera "This fufills legal requirements of having to be able to see out of the back"

4. 32" Wheels "Only the biggest for this fine automobile Spinner Hubcabs will be availble as a dealer option in late 2006"

5. Extra Long and Wide Mirrors "Our base clientele is in their last years their eyesite is rapidly deterorating"

6. Musical AirHorn "We have another excellent dealer add-on here the horn can either play the Theme to Matlock or Murder She Wrote"

7. Single Door Access "We opted to go the route of having only one entry and exit point an excellent Scion innovation"

Expected EPA Mileage is in the mid to low 20's. We had to top this thing out at 55mph in order to get that, but in research TMS/Scion discovered that most people that age never even get going that fast.

The winner of the March 2005 Design-A-Scion contest was a tough, tough choice. I finally narrowed it down to four potential winners, three of them had designed pickup trucks from the Scion xB. The winner designed a sedan that showed the kind of creativity that I was looking for. The winner is FlintTc324 and his Scion eTs sedan!

I will be contacting him tomorrow, and posting all of the contest entries in the features area of the website.
