one ticket? or two?

i got a stupid ticket for no front licenses plate and i didnt know i had my parking lights on (blue led) so he wrote me down and ticketed me for those two things. so im wondering if that counts as two ticket? or one?

Should be two. One for each law you broke.

Dkfung88 02-26-2008 01:15 AM

hmm.. theres two offenses on one ticket, i just dont know if they count it as two ticket or one ticket with two offenses

Be glad he didn't tag you for impersonating an officer...

i dont see how he would of seen it. it was a dot of blue in my headlight housing and it was bright out too.

It makes no difference whether it was one or two. It was one ticket because it was one piece of paper, but the ticket contains two violations. It really doesn't matter what you call it, because I am sure you are going to get both of the violations corrected and then it will be problem solved. Not sure why you are asking the question.

Dkfung88 02-26-2008 07:38 AM

well i hope so too... but from what i read online theres no fix it tickets in eugene...

RodC 02-26-2008 07:57 AM

Hmm, I dunno about Oregon. The cop should have told you your options. Every time I received a ticket for stuff like tint and plates, the cop always told me exactly where to go and what to do.

Dkfung88 02-26-2008 08:05 AM

yeah i asked him if it was a fix-it ticket, hes like no its not, but thats up to the judge..

That doesn't really matter, if the cop wanted to be a dick, he coulda done it... I disagree with it, too, I'm just saying, it coulda happened.

No fix-it-tickets in OR or WA. CA does have them, but up here it is up to the Judge. More than likely he will only reduce it. I got a no front plate ticket a while back and Judge reduced it to $86

Dkfung88 02-26-2008 06:57 PM

man that sucks....

Oznium_com 02-27-2008 08:22 PM

Ouch.... still 86 bucks for not having a license plate....

Dkfung88 02-27-2008 09:00 PM

right now its 90..... plus 141 for having that little blue parking light on
