Default Police Interference

How many times have you all been pulled over by the cops (w/ or w/o a ticket)?

I've been pulled over 6 times - 0 tickets...

The tC must be a cop magnet, at least for me!

EDIT: This # is only since driving the tC, not since you've all been driving. Otherwise the 50 year olds have an uneven comparison to the 20 year olds! I am really trying to see if everyone gets pulled over like crazy in their tCs!

I got pulled over 3 times. The first one was just a warning cuz it was just for taking off too fast, but it was nothing. The other 2, were 76 in a 55 and 59 in a 45, tickets.

By the way, just to clarify, I am talking about how many times being pulled over JUST with the scion, not since you've all been driving.

But still, these are some impressive numbers!

I'd say about 10 times in the past 2 years. 1 Ticket.

Oh the art of social engineering is a great one to pick up on.
The many times I thought I would be SCREWED beyond belief getting pulled over, I get warnings... The only ticket was a 75 in a 55.

Hopefully it will remain the same... My one ticket... Oh please let it remain the same.

Wtf, does he drive drunk with no lights, seatbelt, or license on the service lanes where ever he goes or what? Or does he just have a giant neon sign on his car stating every wrong move he's made.

Well, it's not necessarily the car, it's the driver. It depends on a lot of stuff. Color mostly. Bright colors will catch more attention. The next is dirty cars, then bumper stickers that bash on cops or might lead them to believe you're on drugs (like some rock bands or possibly a mary jane leaf), there's exhaust loudness. And the rest, i guess, is stuff you got on it. (bodykits etc.) But if you're not doing anything wrong, you got nothing to hide. And what they don't know won't hurt them, err, your record.

lol, good point...i'm starting to get mad at cops when they pull me over after all these stops! I got pulled over going 25 in a 30 last time just so they can check my license/tints/etc...its so annoying!

Anyone else finding themselves mouthing off to the cops after getting pulled over every other day?! lol

Woah, mouthing off to cops is just asking for a ticket. I just cooperate and try to smooth talk my way out of it.

I've gotten 3 speeding tickets in my box, talked my way out of the 4th but got tagged for expired tags.

Then last week, I get pulled over as I'm doing 5 mph in traffic. The guy starts hassling me for my tinted headlights and tails and exhaust, etc. Talked my way out of the exhaust cuz it is legal and I knew my numbers. Told him I would peel the tints. I did the headlights but can't bring myself to do the tails yet.

Anyway, my point was that I had all these same mods on for the 4 previous pullovers and they never looked twice. This time, they pulled me over specifically for them!

3 tickets 4 pullovers. The 3rd pullover I challenged (and won) cuz the cop was a ***** and lied to meet his quota. Said I blew a stopsign, in front of a gradeschool, when I saw not only him, in the driveway of a private residence, but a suburban cop drive passed me as i'm STOPPED at the sign. The guy had 3-4 other people challenging his ticket in court that day. He was a no-show. The defense lawyers were ____ED.

Sadly my other tickets I got screwed on. Two were 10 over the limit. No biggy. The 3rd ticket was BAaaaaad. 91 on the highway, $186. ____ed my insurance bigtime.

Yeah I got pulled over last week for going 52 in a 35 but the road changed to 45mph roughly 50 feet from where he clocked me.

If that doesn't seem like the cop was being an **** it was 1:30 in the morning I was tired which he mistakenly took for being drunk(he had me get out of my car), I was also about an 1/8 of a mile from being home, and I just moved to my new house about a month ago.

All reasons why he should have just let me go, but no he reduces it to 14 over and sends me on my way.

I hate how they have to meet their quota, I mine how heartless are you when I litterely could see the speed sign telling me it is 45.
