I'm a littel biased here, as C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite authors.... but, with that taken into account...

I had the opportunity to screen this movie today for some industry individuals and was really impressed with the quality of this film...

It's probably one of the best films that could be viewed by children that I've seen in a long-long time....

Character developement was a little lacking, as the movie could only delve into the characters so much in the time allotted, but for anyone who has seen the BBC version of this, this one blows it away in terms of quality and effects.... but, the story will pull in any kid, and parents will love the message that is taught, regarding justice, law, and sacrifice...

It's really a good fantasy romp in a new world that really brings back the old-school fantasy that I haven't seen in a long time, and can only be related to by the Lord of the Rings... you won't be dissapointed by this one... and kids will really love it....

 

CS Lewis books are really good. I will see this movie.

 

the book was cool. The previews look crazy, can't wait to watch it when it hits theatres.

 

If you ever saw the BBC version of it with the lion who's mouth moved with like servos and the man in the beaver suit....

This one BLOWS that away....

The animals looks scarily realistic....

 

I think this is a movie im actually gonna watch in the theatres. I read this book about 12 years ago. HAHA

 

<< read all 6-7 of the books.... back in grade school.... heck i think several of them i was first to check them out once they got into our library...wonder if they'll try making it thru the series??

 

The special effects are really good in this one.
