ELIGIBILITY
Anyone can race, but prizes only apply to residents of the five (5) Gulf States: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas. Game ends September 25th, 2006.
Winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on Tuesday, September 26th, 2006. Winner will be announced Saturday, September 30th, 2006. The drawing is supervised by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. The drawing will consist of all eligible entries received during the registration period. Winner will choose a Scion model of their choice and delivery will be subject to availability. Participants may enter as many times as they like during the valid game period.

 

man i played the game it was cool but i hate standard... but i still beat the box an ax the tc is a lil tricky since im slow to shift

I've gotten down to a 13.31 with all of the performance options. No one else online to play though...

 

Whoa... correction, just got a 12.37. Still in practice though... no one to race.

 

Hehe... don't bother with the "best time" listed in the first one... that's only if you "race." The time in the second pic is from "practice."

I'm still trying to figure out the best method.

One way I was doing it was to hold the gas as soon as the screen loads and then drop to 2nd the instant the light turns green. Shift about when the needle gets to the middle of the white.

Or you can start by shifting to 1st as soon as the light turns and then in like a second, you'll be shifting to 2nd and so on. Don't shift too soon when the needle gets in the white, go about half way or so.

Even with the same methods, my times still vary quite a bit each run. It's strange. I have like $7k or more at this point though... just from practice races.
