tickets.. DOH!
I got my 1st ticket in the Box while going to work a few weeks ago in Niles on Dempster. I was late to work, so of course I was speeding a bit and so the "pig" that pulled me over claims he got me doing 21 mph over the speed limit. I went to court just this passed Tuesday and I paid my $75 fine and I have 4 months supervision. I have to be a good little boy for 4 months...
Well, you get caught breaking the law, you get a ticket.
My last ticket was quite a few cars ago in 1978. It was a speeding ticket 'cause I was speeding - keeping up with the rest of the traffic.
I think I've received 4 tickets in about 800,000 miles of driving...that averages about one every 200,000 miles. Not too bad, I guess.

Two in mine.... dumb @$$ me the first time. Wasnt paying attention, had worked from 7am till 11pm and was driving home. The tC feels like it is moving slower than my last car (I only had the tC for about a month at the time) and I got nailed for 11 over.
The second was last month. Running 52 in a 30, along with EVERY other car on that street, cars in front and behind me and we ALL were pulled over. So much for going with the flow of traffic huh? Turns out they raised the cost of tickets two weeks earlier and then had a bunch of "pull em all over" speed traps.... good thing they had over 10 cops involved.. screw the crack deals going on down town, lets get the bad people following the flow of traffic
Oh well, I was speeding, so it cost me $220, not to mention my insurance when it gets renewed next year.. I am sure it will jump up on me
