All of a sudden I find that I have 3 sets of hubcaps for my 2005 PW xBOX.
I will display 3 views of each set of hubcaps and I would like you to vote for the set that you like best. I am fond of my many hubcaps, I can change my look quickly.
Some wheels look nice, but you are stuck with that one look forever. My mood can now change at a whim or fancy. And I like to have balanced wheels. I want normal wheel weights that attach to the rim edge instead of the 'stick-on, fall-off' type. Even if they stay on, they collect dirt and mud that will effect your wheels balance.
White is striking from a distance. I was going to throw 4 scratched original hubcaps away, and then I thought that I might try a spray paint cover-up in white.

Original Equipment, stock silver plastic.

Racing Disks: For those Saturday nights when I expect action....

No more eyelids, they had to be removed to pass inspection.

I voted for the white ones. They look great on your car. One question....how exactly did you end up with 3 complete sets of wheel covers? When my wife curbed one of her's, I had to pay like $23 to replace just that one. And it wasn't even a new one. It was a used one somebody had taken off when they got rims.
I also voted for the white caps.. I like the white on white look. Such a clean flow.. I would actually suggest bying white rims, they would look a lot nicer than plastic caps. Box looks good tho, likin the rear taillights (not sure if stock) but look good.. Overall 2 thumbs up.
Infected: Your wheels still have some showroom shine, paint your wheel weights black and get lug nut covers or rounded lugnuts and I am with you. Good match with your carbon fiber hood.
Da_Mac: No, not stock tail lights. I paid $140 for them, they are on E-BAY now for $65. They are not DOT or SAE approved. They meet all requirements for tail lights in the USA but were not tested and approved of by Uncle Sam. I need to swap them out for the stock tail lights to pass inspection.
How did I collect so many hubcaps? I wanted crome dome hubcaps from the beginning, but the ones I bought would not fit our rims. So, I settled for Racing Disks.
I also had a curb abrasion on one hubcap, so I saw a classified ad here on ScionLife and arranged to buy two clean hubcaps ($15) from someone in Jersey with real wheels. He just gave me all four of his stock hubcps for $15. I replaced my skuffed hubcap with one of his and I was going to toss out the other 4 scratched hubcaps.
Then, I thought that I might see what white hubcaps might look like. I sprayed the 4 scuffed hubcaps and that came out all right but not perfect. The paint stays on well.
The hubcap is somewhat flexable, but the new white paint looks O.K.
Should I get these caps sanded and painted 068 POLAR WHITE?

white looks best out of the choices your asking about. I'm not a fan of steelies so if you're not getting rims soon I say rock the white. What kinda paint did you use because I might do the same for my PW as well?
This was just an experiment. I used a half can of KRYOLA Spray paint. Gloss White.
The color match is close and from more than 5 feet away, you would never know that it is not the same. I turned the hubcap to spray it from every angle.
I may have a set painted POLAR WHITE 068 at Maaco.
Does that center cap in these hubcaps come off? If so, perhaps remove them and paint the hubcap. Re-install them and see how that looks, you can always re-spray the hubcap.
