Default XBOX 360..How hot will it be ?

Hello everyone....I was wondering how hot the XBOX 360 premium console will be....

The reason I ask is because I will buy one in hopes of a quick turn around and selling it on Ebay ?

Thanks in advance for your opinions

I dun think buying one and flipping it is going to do too much for you. Buying a 360 is going to be really easy. Microsoft is flooding every sinlge store that is going to carry one. These things will be pretty accessible one they are released in 4 days. I highly doubt youll be able to make a profit off of them.

actually they probably will be hard to get in the short term. Ther are in short supply right now. I know people who put money down for a pre-order and they were told they will have to wait till the next shipment because the firts is all sold out.

Hype Hype Hype....

I bet you'll be able to get an XBox at many retailers.... especially with its price point... Not as many parents will be purchasing this at its high price point...

The PS3 isn't coming out for a while... so this is the best option right now....

There will be thousands on ebay right off the bat and many available online I'm sure... no one will make a killing of these IMHO.

i think itll be hot, its the newest console and xmas season.

the psp was released after the xmas season. so there wasnt a reason for a parent to buy it for their kids, unless they were spoiled or had a birthday coming up.

last year after thanksgiving i saw stacks of the new ps2 design everywhere and didnt think that would be insanely hard to find, but when it came near xmas i couldnt find one anywhere

Makes sense, who'd buy the 360 w/o the HDD? Not me. The 360 needs a software emulator for every 1st-Gen XBox game it plans to play. Great for me since I don't have an XBox.

People also said you couldn't get Linux to run on the first Xbox. So I wouldn't say never, nothing's impossible.

an emulator allowing the 360 to play old xbox games is a completely different thing than an emulator that will allow you to play games from another system. It just doesn't work that way.

The first xbox has a hard drive. If it were possible to create such an emulator someone would have done it.

They have emulators for just about every game system available on the PC. The XBox is nothing more than a souped-up PC(with a tri-core processor, drool). The system isn't even out yet, so who's to say it will never happen?

Just because something hasn't happened yet, doesn't make it impossible.

True. I'm merely saying that it is highly improbable. And while I am not a programmer, I do make games for a living(currently working on an unannounced xbox360 project), so I know a thing or two about the process.

If you can get one, buy it and sell it. I'd recommend the premium package.

I am in this category. It should arrive about a week after launch date.

I think you are wrong, but I hope you are right.
