Ditto. I have one on pre-order (second shipment) but I'll also try snagging one at launch either by going to the local BestBuy or Amazon(how I got a PS2 at launch).

 

they're soo hot they are sold out in houston.. and they are not even yet!

so if anyone one knows of any available in houston let me know!!

Yeah I didnt really want one right away until I played it this week. I had to change my pants afterwards. Its a bummer selling Scions isnt more lucrative cause I cant afford the new Box yet...

...My guess is that they will be readily available within two weeks of launch. I'll get one later around february.

 

I could care less. $399.99 + tax = A set of springs & headers. I could find better ways to blow 1/3 of my pay check

 

Hopefully i should be able to get one this Tuesday! Costco has got a killer bundle going on for the 360. If all is well im gonna buy as many as i can, Just to have them. You gotta love Costco's never ending return policy.

at the price they are asking, im not even interested in the xbox360. i'll wait until my rich friends buy one and use theirs.

 

I've done some research after I found out about the shortage.

I've hade mine reserved since the summer and won't be getting one on the first "wave". Looks like I'm camping at Wal-Mart or something to get one on launch day. I know my Software ETC. is getting 27 units and I'm #80 on the list. Sad.

The 360 system itself is $299.99 not 399.99. Best Buy and Circuit City are selling the above items for $399.99 (system included). The 399.99 bundle is silver/white while the system only is in a full green box. Just got our Sunday circular.

$399 for the X360 WITH HARDDRIVE

This system is going to be the most wanted system this year/next year.

Sony can no longer keep up....

Did I forget to mention XBOX does ONLINE Gaming???

 

The 299 system is a rip-off. The ones that costco sells is the 399 system. The costco bundle ends up selling for about $530 if you were to buy everything seperately, but they are selling it for $480.

 

So does PS2 and so will PS3...your point??

 

... and wireless controller, and remote.

The upgraded system is well worth it, esp. considering the HDD is $100 by itself, and is required to play the xbox games.

i like both the PS3/XBOX 360...but in terms of online gaming between the two, XBOX Live is way ahead of the game...

what i like about the XBOX Live Silver edition is (even though you can't play your games online, you need Live Gold for that) that you can still chat/send messages with the people in your friend's list

i also like the little gadget you can attach to the back of the XBOX 360 (i forgot the name ) so you can play online...plug and play

I will have to say....I love PS2..and with no question get a PS3, I had a xbox, sold it though cause I got bored with the games on it(exception of Halo) but... XBOX 360 does have the High Def going and I saw the comercial for Call of Duty 2 which looks sweet. When PS2 came out..I camped out and got one on release date...I was lucky, but I didn't know at the time also they were selling on Ebay for almost double. Had I known, I would of had more people camp with me to buy 1 also for me. My thinking was if I can get a XBOX 360 on release date.. put it on Ebay for 700 or so...and then just wait till I can walk into any store and buy one....Free Xbox.

 

oh yeah..and if it doesn't sell, oh well.. I have one
