Photo Project #1 - 50 Days of 50
 

Project Title: 50 Days of 50
Duration: 50 days
Dates: TBD

Purpose: The purpose of this project is to challenge the photographer to take photos with one lens only, the 50mm prime. You can use any model you like whether its the 1.2, 1.4, or 1.8 just as long as it's a 50mm.

Posting Images: Images should be posted in this thread only. Please do not leave comments on the photos, this will be a gallery to display the pictures only. You may discuss the photos in the Project Discussion Thread. There will also be a Flickr group created for displaying your photos and having discussions. This way your work will gain more exposure.

Challenge: The challenge of this project is endurance. It's a lengthy project and is designed to push the photographer to pick up his/her camera on a daily basis. That means that each photo you post must be taken on that day (all photos must retain exif data). Photos must be submitted by 11:59PM PST each day. If you do not post a picture, you are eliminated from the project.

Prize: The winner (last photographer standing) of the project will be featured as Photographer of the Month here on SL (you will have a stickied thread to showcase your work) and on Flickr (your chosen photo will be featured on the group homepage). If there is more than one photographer remaining on the 50th day, we will vote for the best photo out of the remaining contestants and that person will be the winner.
