does that mufflar sit angled out the back or straight?

I would have to say that yes, it does come out at an angle. But the angle is prob more up than out. It is less severe than say the HKS, Apexi N1, or the Megan drift. But it is not flat/parallel to the ground as say the Raceland. Hope that helps. I would say that it sounds very much like the HKS.
