FS: ALL Vibrant Ultra Quiet 2.5" Resonator (Got Header?? Need Resonator!!)

Up for grabs is my Vibrant Ultra Quiet 2.5" resonator.

I've had it installed for roughly 5 months and it is time to do away with it. I am asking for $70 shipped. It will eliminate all of your horrid header rasp or if you're looking for a quieter setup overall it is for you.

This resonator is not a hotdog, so it will not eat away and clog up your entire midpipe. It is on par with if not slightly better than the Aero AR25 resonator. It is a must for any tC with a header.

I am only getting rid of it because I went turbo otherwise I would still keep it for myself.

It gives a nice low rumble and not horrid metallic rasp.

what header did you use this with?

asking only because i have it on a custom catback with my hks carbon ti, stock s pipe, stock secondary cat, and the megan catted header, and above 3500 rpm's is aweful sounding, getting a bigger resonator soon

Injen CAI, Strup header, Invidia s-pipe, Magnaflow catback.

I had the resonator welded in directly after the cat.

sorry been busy but did you ever rub with this resonator installed? like over bumps or anything cause the dimensions are pretty big. where on the midpipe did you get it installed at? towards the front or the back?

BlckdOutTC 09-28-2009 01:58 PM

unless you know how to weld. other than that you gotta take it to a shop for them to do it for you.

Nope, never rubs, it sits up pretty well, it is never close enough to the ground to rub. Sorry for the delay in responding, i'm back fresh off my SL 2 week suspension. It was installed towards the front, directly after the cat.

$30 to your local exhaust/muffler shop and they'll take care of it for you.
