S-Max Chill-Zone Front Mount Intercooler
1 Attachment(s)
I bought this a few years back for a different car and have since sold it. It has been sitting in my garage for a year and a half and I'm ready to get rid of it. This was a great intercooler and really kept intake temps down.
The cool thing about S-Max intercoolers is that they have internal tubing that is meant to be hooked up to a CO2 tank. When you need to cool the intercooler down, just send CO2 through the tubing and it cools the intercooler from the inside out. I'm asking $350 OBO You can either PM me on here or shoot me an e-mail at THansenite at gmail dot com - tube and fin style intercooler - 22"x10"x3" core plus 3" endtanks on each side (for a total length of 28") - 3" inlet and outlet - has internal piping and connectors so CO2 can be used to cool the intercooler from the inside out - retailed at $700 Attachment 61599 Cutaway view of internal piping: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...oredesign1.jpg |

For those of you thinking about simply putting a spray bar to cool the intercooler, that only does a so-so job at cooling since you are only doing it to the outside of the front fins. This intercooler freezes the intercooler from the inside out. This intercooler will give you the coldest air charge into your engine.
