SOLD!

I've got a used Sprintbooster for sale in great shape for manual transmission XB2 and TC2's. It is the second generation with the mode button cable.

Throttle response is dramatically improved. Makes the car feel so much more lively and ready to go.

$150 shipped within CON-US.

PM me if interested.

I think it will physically fit, but I don't know if the programming is different between the auto and manual. I called JRP online at sprintboosterusa.com and the customer service gal simply said it won't work because the manual and auto versions have different part numbers. Mini-Mania at sprintboostersales.com said it would fit but the manual transmission modules aren't recommended for use in autos bc the programming is more aggressive. Emailed boulekos dynamics the same question, but I haven't received a response yet.

Will respond back to this thread if boulekos ever responds.

The word from Boulekos is they don't recommend a sprintbooster programmed for a manual transmission to be used in an automatic car.

The manual programming is too aggressive for automatic cars apparently. Perhaps keeping the autobox in too high of a gear most of the time or kicking down too abruptly for the kind of autobox pedal feel people are used to.
