Do you have the ipod module? Its a small box that is needed for the ipod to function. It is not just that wire that plugs into the avic that you have a picture of.

you dont need a module for the ipod to work, all you need is the wire he has pictured. the modules are for the bluetooth, hd radio, xm radio, etc.

How well did it fit into the double din location? Were there any gaps? Which mounting kit did you use?

It fit perfectly, no gaps. Without the tC fit kit, there will be 2 gaps on either side of the unit, but i purchased the tC fit kit with the unit so there are no gaps and it sits very nice. Thanks for your interest!
