I bought the kit for my girlfriend as a birthday gift but she really didnt want all the extra features that came with the kit so i got her a single colored kit instead. darn. i'd really love these, but my 90+ mile a day trip to work and back home on turnpike would so not like these.

You should get them. They include zip ties that hold the bulbs really good and dont break like plastic brakets do. If thats not safe enough for you you can always pic up metal ties so you can garantee they never fall off. Thats what i did with the ones on my car and havent had problems with them yet. Going on 3 years now with my kit.

 

$200 plus shipping. what all comes with it? the 4 original tubes, what's the extra ones for, interior?

 

I bought the extra tubes to put in the grill and under the interior dash. Its up to you on were you want to put them. Its an amazing kit. has many colors and tons and tons of patterns and color alterations. I would keep it for myself but i already have a kit installed. Let me know if your intrested. If you would like some real pics of the kit i have, ill be more than happy to open up the box and take some pics. Im not in no hurry to sell the kit but i would like to get rid of it eventualy

 

you peaked my interest, but for $200, i could get a brand new 4 tube kit. i don't think i would actually need the extra tubes.

 

I hear you but this kit is BRAND NEW. Unfortunantly im not parting the kit out. Plus this same kit with just 4 tubes is 200 from LEDGlow. So basically if your were looking to buy this kit from me its like getting the extra 3 tubes for free. You could always get a single color kit or a 7 color kit with 4 tubes threw LEDGlow for about half the price if your were looking for something more affordable.

 

yeah, i had the 7 color kit in my old D before it got stolen after the wreck (seriously, like come on people?). very true. as was my fire scanner and 4 corner strobe kit :-(. all stolen.

anyways, i'll keep you in mind man. i'll let you know when i get my insurance checks for things stolen and replacement car value.

 

well just let me know if you decide you want it. Its been sitting here at my place for the last 2 months and still have no buyer so it probably wont be going anywhere soon.
