Just clay bar before hand (to strip the wax) OR use dish soap *NOT CAR WASH SOAP*. You want something to pull any wax contaminates away. Put this stuff on, let it dry (it dries within hours) then 2-3 days later set up for a easy wax over. You could wait a week if you prefer. I would then run my orbital over it, and you cant even tell where it was touched up at.
