Up for sale is my 2006 xB RS3 5 speed. I am the second owner. I purchased it with 55k miles on it from the original owner. It has been my wifes driver, but we recently had our 3rd child and it just doesn't work for us any more. It's a great car and has been well cared for. I've changed all of the fluids. The trans has a Lucas synthetic gear oil and the motor I've been running Mobil with Toyota filters. I just turned 81k miles, but still drive it sometimes, so that is subject to change. Everything functions as it should. All TSBs have been taken care of. It did have an extended warranty and before it expired I took it to the dealership to have them go through it to address any problems - nothing was done other than a thorough check as it needed nothing.
The car is not stock, along with all of the standard RS3 options, it was optioned out when it arrived at the dealership when it was new. The list of options are as follows:

TRD Arm rest
OBX Carbon Fiber shifter ****
Interior Lighting package
TRD rear sway bar
TRD Strut Tower bar
TYC taillights
Rear Bumper applique
Carbon fiber gas filler door
TRD lowering springs
TRD struts/shocks (replaced with Koni Sports at 60k miles)
TRD exhaust
TRD Foglights
Scion Floor Mats
Black 18" wheels (changed at 60k miles)
Pioneer Avic D-3 (XM radio/traffic tuner, back-up camera and NAV disc)

Can i ask about the stereo, did this run the DVD screens and an easy hook up? I just got one and might change stock radio as well. Thanks for any information you might recall about this change...

The Alpine head unit and vizio logic(sp?) were part of the xB Release Series 3.0. So technically it is a factory option for this RS3. Just an FYI, month half later

Thanks, I found a unit that works well enough, the headphones wont work with out testing it, nor the aux headphone input on the screens yet for now its fine, i wont use them all that much, but when i do, it is nice the new deck works.

Would be nice to know what color wires from the car would be the wires that control the DVD screen aux speaker output and the wireless headphones from factory, its all guess work at this time and the free installation with radio didnt cover that hook up and i wonder why now. Like, ima call and say what the heck, its not a free partial install, its free install! HAHAHA


if anyone knows for sure, id love to hook them up, they wanted 50 bucks just to do that. Gawd...
