Scion xB Tires/Rims & TPMS
I hope some Canadian Scion’ers are still kicking around.
I have a 2015 xB that I just got a couple of days ago. I am in the process of deciding whether I should just get winter tires and install on the stock 17” rims or if I should get another set of rims and tires. During the research the topic of TPMS came up. I read somewhere that Canadian version of this vehicle don’t have TPMS? Is this correct?
If so, do I just order a set of aftermarket rims and tires and I am good to go and I shouldn’t be getting any error signs in the dash? Someone with a Canadian xB, preferably 2015, running aftermarket rims without TPMS please confirm so I can decide whether I am going to order just the winter tires or a complete set with rims. I just don’t want any error signs on the dash and TPMS is a rip off that I’d rather not have to have. Thank you kindly.
