Scion Announces Mid-Year Price Adjustment for xB

Scion, from Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today announced mid-year price adjustments for the 2006 Scion xB, which receives an updated interior and new exterior colors.

The 2006 Scion xB urban utility vehicle will have new seat fabric and a steering wheel with integrated audio controls. Two exterior colors, Camouflage Green and Black Cherry Pearl, will be replaced with Salsa Red Pearl and Shadow Mica. Shadow Mica is new to the Scion line-up.

With the additional standard equipment, prices for the xB increase only $150 on both models. The MSRP for the Scion xB will be $14,030 with a manual transmission and $14,830 with an automatic transmission, reflecting a 1.1 and 1.0 percent increase, respectively.

Production of mid-2006 xBs began earlier this week and vehicles will start arriving at Scion dealerships on the West Coast at the end of the month.


FYI - Shadow Mica is an '06 4Runner color.

 

sux about dropping camo but the other colors sound awesome along with the different fabric and audio controls.

when i ordered ours in august they had they the smoked mica swatch under the camo, and i didn't like it as much. it's "almost" the same green with a metal flake in it.

 

meh, the audio controls won't work anymore if you get an aftermarket headunit anyways

 

Hmmm.. The 4Runners are more grey than green.

 

Aftermarket stereos will work with the wheel controls. pioneer and a few other makers have already created a unit for the controls. it is specific to toyota made models (scion toyota lexus) i have seen them @ the shop near my old house.

 

you're probably right Sharpies. funny thing is you can have 10 people look at , and get about 10 variations on what color it is.
