Stolen Chrome Shorty Antenna, Tempe AZ :(
 

I was at Dave & Busters in Tempe a few nights ago. When I got there I parked towards the back (kinda close to a Silver tC) so no drunk ppl would hit my car with their doors. A few minutes after I pulled in a FM tC pulled up and parked a couple spaces away from me. They sat in their car Staring at my tC for a few mins, i just figured at the time that they were admiring since they were bone stock except for a crappy exhaust. Well I locked my car and went inside. I came out a bit later and both tC's and my antenna were gone. I am just assuming it was one of the tC's but not for sure.
So if anyone see's a silver or flint mica tC with a chrome shorty antenna, let me know so I can kick their ___! Most likely they're on the east side since that's where it happened. Thanks :) It just ____es me off that someone would touch my stuff.

thats messed up, I got my stem caps stolen once before.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that. That happened to me too. A week after I first got my tc some loser stole my oem antenna (and a tire valve cap just to ____ me off). The weird thing is, like you I also parked next to an older year tc...sigh. I dunno why people do that :(

Next time loctite it (the red one). That's what I did after I got my s2k one.

Well I did have a little bit of locktite on it but just not a whole lot cuz sometimes I need to take it off. Well definitly going to be looking out for it and using a buttload of locktite next time.

Too bad you can't loctite the thief to your antenna so they're sitting there when you come back to your car.

One of you creative people need to get on this! :P

i would probably get a conductive antenna made and then hook it up to a car battery so the person gets shocked when they try to steal it.

Use the blue locktite and alot of it... its the removable type just takes some extra ump.

Well I know there aren't that many tC's out there with a chrome antenna so it should hopefully be easy to spot. It was probably just a stupid ASU student being a dik. There are so many tC's in that area.

That sucks but its such a small thing in life. We live and we get over it and move on.

Maybe it was for the better because those lil chrome things dont get radio reception worth a crapp anyways

Mine did. You can tweak them to make them get perfect recpetion. Worked just as good as the stock.
Oh well, I'll just get another one. I'm definitly not feeling this big stock one I have back on.
