Default Upholstery/Fabric Stores?

I know a lot of people here have done headliners, etc. so you may have some suggestions. I'm really just looking for ideas and checking what's available, but I do need some super-sticky glue

Where should I go for fabric and supplies? Hopefully somewhere on the W/NW side of town.

if you have a joann's, that's a good store.

for headliners you really want some spray contact cement, and i dont think that joann sells that

I just looked to see if there was a JoAnn's in Phoenix. There are two, and came back to the post above. They also sell "Headliner Glue". Surprised me, but since they do sell the typical headliner material (light foam-backed cloth), they do carry the Glue also.

The only place to go is Phoenix Trim and Supply. That is where Tim (YELOSUB) and I have gotten all of our fabric. They supply most of the auto upholstery shops here in town. Great price and good guys.

I just got my fabric from Joanne's and used the 3M 90 Spray adhesive that I have at work. Let me know if you need some. Maybe a trade??

i recommend TEMPE SALES on Broadway east of Rural on the north hand side. They have lots of material and pretty easy priced.

Ive been getting my material from Fabric Depot. There is one here in avondale and I know of one in north phoenix at cavevreek and bell. I too recomend the 3M 90 for anything on the headliner but becareful if the material is thin, it may bleed through.

I've checked at all of the major suppliers and my problem is no Red/White/Blue material anywhere. Can anyone here sew?

Thanks for all the help! I want to go check out Phoenix Trim, but my wife probably wouldn't approve. Right now I just need glue and some other upholstery supplies for a project I'm starting, but I also want to see what's available for headliner material.

I need to take my car to the body shop this week but I'll be working on something while it's there. It's kind of a long story, I'll try to post it tomorrow with pics of what else I've been doing.

Thanks Chad! It'll be a few weeks at least, but I'll definitely do that before I spend any serious money.

I don't know anyone that can sew a straight line. Dan (SPRSLUG) had his entire interior done at a place over on the west side, maybe in Glendale. They did a good job and it was really cheap. Does anyone remember the name of that place?

Mesa Sales on Main/Gilbert is a great source for the east valley peeps. Headliner, speakerbox carpet, adhesives, etc.
