Well someone keyed my new Black Sand Pearl XB 08...
...had it for less then 2 weeks and someone decided to key the poor thing... ~_~ Anyway, anyone know a good place to get it buffed/fixed. It’s about an inch and 1/2 long. TX.

Well, N2HTWLZ is an awesome painter/ scion guru. I would ask him for advice.

Have Randode take a look at it. Hopefully you don't need paint.

That just sucks that someone has to hate on someone who was able to go and purchase a new vehicle. :loser:

Cool Ill email em after work (cant use my main e-mail account here). ^_^
Tell me about it... I have never had a nice car... I had a hand me down Camery 94 and then a cruddy Tracker 99. I never had anyone actually do anything to em. Then I finally get my first car I wanted and actually care for an BAM.... keyed 10 days after I get the car.... sigh. T_T |
Where were was it parked when this happened?
|
Well outside Gamecrazy in Surprise, AZ

I'm really carefull where I park. I usually park pretty far all by myself. I'm not saying it keeps it from happening, but atleast nobody has a reason to walk right by it. That really sux
|
I do the same... its parked far to the right where noone goes.... but now that I think about it... I also got my car alarm instaled that morning at Best Buy... maybe it got scratched there while they were installing it... ~_~ Man whatever...

Well we all know where to avoid now. Hey franky Chris sent me to a guy called greg at fleet services. He does all the paint for the car dealerships located off of 99th ave. Chris has his number he does a pretty good job. And best of all he is very competitively priced he charged me 250.00 for something that everywhere else charged me 550.00. So yours should be pretty cheap.

Really, I went to Larry Miller and they said there detail shop can do it for about $600!!! for an inch.... So maybe Ill check that out sometime in Jan when I have cash. TX.
|
Dude....You could do it yourself.....Get a bottle of touch up paint from your dealership, and a spray can of clear coat from an auto paint store. I know both of these can be had for about 50 bucks. Apply the paint, clear it(make sure to mask off what you don't want cleared) and then buff and polish...Should cost less than $75 and if it ever happens again you'll have all the materials.
|
i may just do that. tx. ^_^
