Likewise. Nice to meet you now tho!

I don't usually see many custom tC's around until right around cruise time. I was/am usually in downtown royal oak on evenings if the Tigers aren't in town.

Now that i'm driving 100+ miles a day just to work, I let the summer tC go while it was still low miles. I'm getting into the Diesel world now with a Golf TDi as my DD.

Finally, If you need anything I have posted just give a shout; i'm usually up for helping with an install if needed too.

i wish i could buy some stuff. i've been eyeing an engine damper for so long, but it looks like i'm selling the tC in the next month or so as well.

but what i want to know, is did you have any issues with the damper and the strut bar? i've heard there has been some install issues with those which is why i was always on the fence of getting one.

Nope, no issues, at least with my config. The hotchkis strut bar mount is less than 1/8" thick so I was also able to also place a piece of dynamat extreme between the strut tower and the stiffy to cut some vibration. There was still one thread showing beyond the nut when installed; I was comfortable with that.

oh ok. i have the DC strut bar and it's a lot thicker than 1/8th on the plate which is why i would have had issues.
