last year we teamed up with Windy City Miata Club for a couple of events. the more avid autocrossers would be Shane and Alex (the cop). we quickly realized our Scions will never handle like a miata, but is was fun nonetheless.

if you are interested, i could try finding the contact information again.

How about lil scion event. get some people and just go there and have fun.

EDIT: it's Mundelein not Mundeline There is a 350z across the street, black one with bronze 5zigne (not really sure) but it looks sweet.

that would be really sweet actually!

or we can crash the audi events that happen once a month. its open to all cars but the audi club hosts it so its mostly all audis.

the next event in the 24th of june so we have lots of time to prepare. im getting new wheels and tires just for this (ok its just more of an excuse to get my wheels) so we should be able represent!

there is an scca sponsored event at rt 66 speedway on june 18th but thats fathers day so i wont be able to make it to that one.

Auto-X is 10% car and 90% skill. At our school one of the fastest cars is a Saturn SC2. To give you a picture I go to Kettering University, formerly General Motors Institute. We have a rule in the dorms, "You may not have an internal combustion engine inside your dorm room, no matter how dissassembled." It still gets broken. The SC2 is one of the few cars that gives the fully modded WRX a run for his money. I mean the non street legal WRX that they bring up in a trailer and have 2 sets of tires for track condition and whatnot.

If your interested in Auto-X and becomming skilled, look for basic suspension upgrades and run ____ty tires. Once you get good with the ____ty tires, through on some sweet tires and you will be golden.

we are looking for fun, not a pro racing. It doesn't matter if you are modded or not, it would be nice just to get togheter like a lil car show and have some fun.
