Milwaukee Auto Show
Figured I'd post the idea of going to the Milwaukee Auto Show.
I already went to the Chicago Auto Show (sorry tcScotty about missing your post on going down there, would have join you), but if anything, might be a good time for people in the area to get together and collectively laugh at the new Focus. If others are interested, I'll go. |
Maybe........ :ponder:

There is also now a duplicate of this I started on SE: Wisconsin.
http://www.scionevolution.org/forum/...2fd45dccccb219 TheJonas53 was saying he could go next Friday, which would work me as well. |
I went yesterday , and i think i wasted $9 to get in.
Scion had a tc, a xa and an old xB. No xd or new xb. And are only giving out keychains no hats. And they also had the old scion mag and not the newest one. I think milwaukee show is geared for the 45 - 65 year old group of buyers. |
I will definatly agree to that. They are really missing a lot. Forget ever seeing a concept most of the time unless it's from last year in my opinion.
If anything, it's an excuse for the group to gather. |
At the ticket counter when you first walk in they have a sign that says camaro concept car is not here, just to let everyone know ahead of time.

^^

I would rather have a GTO if I were in the market for a car like that. Am I the only one who isn't really sold on the retro-ish look of it? I mean, like the Mustang, it's not a bad looking car, it just doesn't trip any of my triggers. It just seems to be be caught in between being modern and nostalgic.

One last bump before going tonight.
Although I admit, the weather looks poo-tastic. |
I'm going to have to pass on this one.
|
I think I'm going to have to call this one off. The roads are looking pretty spectacularly sub-par for driving anywhere. I suggest everyone stay home and have a cookie.

mmmmm cookie
