We have a new QB!

Do you guys think Jay Cutler will be good for us? What do you think of Kyle Orton being traded?

I'm just hoping that this is the start to a new SuperBowl win!...

I was shocked when it was announced that the Bears traded off Kyle Orton! I actually thought that he was our man...I guess not!... :(

Jay Cutler is a cry baby. Whenever the offense doesn't get it done, it's never his fault.

Good luck Bears!

even though with all the drama that surrounded cutler in denver i think he's got a bit of what the bears need. being a probowler i'm sure he's got that expectation that the offense will step up. matt forte did well last season. i'm sure olsen will have a killer year this season. we've got hester developing as a WR. i think the offense should do quite well. even if the Oline is gettin up there in age, with cutler there, there's the treat of a deep pass which should spread defenses a bit more.

along with that i think he has that ability to get the defense back to where they were a couple years ago. look at how much, or the lack there of, rest the defense got last season. they were practically always on the field. if cutler can get the offense going and get some string together some decent runs the d can get their rest.

also as much as we sacrificed three draft picks.. in my eyes the bears didn't do too well with their draft picks the past few years. also, i'm a bit more comfortable with someone experience who's already proven themselves rather than a toss up. rashad salaam anyone?

haha, Rashaan Salaam did pretty good at CU...turned pro and was a flop. We know all about that one! Sorry!

he kicked butt when in CU.. i was excited when we picked him up.. little did i know that man had hands made out of butter..

It's still so weird, the thought of him gone. We thought we had a new elway, a franchise quarterback that we thought was going to take us to the big game. Oh well. In McDaniels we trust...

Metro273 04-05-2009 11:39 PM

^^^I thought the same with Kyle Orton... :(
