Default Current 2017 Emissions Inspections

I'll be moving back to TX later this year and was wondering what changes have happened within inspections? I know you are still required to do it but you won't get a sticker as it is not needed no more. Also I was wondering if they do visual inspections for the main catalytic converter on your header? Thanks.

Nothing? C'mon now. There's got to be something especially for those DFW and Bell County folks on here.

as far as i am aware, and what they said, the inspections are still done exactly the same.

the only changes are no separate sticker, the exp. date is now the same as your registration exp. date, and the inspection can't have been done more than 90 days before your registration expires.
