Default Expressway 83 Death Bump

This is just a warning for those of you who don't already know, due to the recent construction on expressway 83, if you are traveling west bound towards mission, when you reach the Bryan exit before Conway there is a step up where the gravel meets the concrete of the actual bridge and it is death. I've already hit this bump and it hurt even me and that's cause i have 65's, i can just imagine those who have 35's and 40's. My girlfriends co- workers husband hit this bump and it popped his tire and bent his rim bad. There is good news though, the bump is only on the middle lane and the fast lane, if you stick to the lane to the left you'll be fine. drive safe.

Well the bump has never been there before, the only reason it became a problem is because of the recent repaving of the expressway. I've seen other sections of the expressway that are lower where the gravel meets the concrete but the city put gravel on most parts to make small ramp connections. im guessing they didnt do a good job on the bryan part of it. As for being from the valley, yes im from here, born and raised. Well for the most part, lived on La Homa almost my whole life.

I'm starting work as a Overnight Sleeping Establishment Account Specialist with the Hampton Inn & Suites in Pharr (Night Auditor...lol) , so basically I'm working with numbers all night. For now I'm just doing trainging then as soon as the property in Mission behind Target opens up ill be transfered over there. Its not that bad cause I'm pretty good with numbers, like i said the only thing is the pm shift. Come 4am all your doing is . Did it for 2 years as well about 2 years ago so now i just have to get use to it again.
