whatmovesu 03-01-2006 01:31 AM

It's fine with me let's see what the rest of them say.

gjpjr84 03-01-2006 01:38 AM

we can drive crazy around the landing strip! :P

whatmovesu 03-01-2006 01:40 AM

eov32885 03-01-2006 02:39 AM

I need help installing my stubby antenna.....j/k. I might have some headers to put in by then.

gjpjr84 03-01-2006 02:44 AM

i have some thread lock if ya wanna borrow some for your antenna.

CBucher 03-01-2006 02:44 AM

It don't matter to me where we do it. Is the hanger the one by Traders Village?

whatmovesu 03-01-2006 02:51 AM

Do you have air in the hangar?? And I can bring my dorky jack stands.

Scionpilot 03-01-2006 02:58 AM

I do have air in the hangar, and jackstands can be a big help, if we run out

Scionara_tC 03-01-2006 03:00 AM

cool...either one works for me

Jimmy, you cool with this man? this was your thread and all and you were kind enough to offer your house

gjpjr84 03-01-2006 03:02 AM

i have jack stands too. and a hydrolic jack. and i can maybe steal the jacks that came with the other five cars in my driveway. I know I will need at least 2

and i have a small 5 gal. air compressor with the tire fuller adapter and the other adapter that looks like those cone drill bits, if that helps....

and do you think it would be bad if on a CAI tube that one end is a little bent flat? will that cause a problem? if not then u would like to try putting it on again.....

it'll be a "lets put lupe's car together" install day.
i told ya i could keep everyone busy! :P
but its all very easy things to put in. shouldn't take too long at all with just me working at it. i mainly want the space.

Scionpilot 03-01-2006 04:44 AM

The hangar is one of the ones over by traders village.

eov32885 03-01-2006 04:50 AM

sure, I could do with some thread lock! If all goes well, I've have headers and CAI to install that day!

dfwaltima 03-01-2006 01:10 PM

I dont mind moving this to the hanger, the only thing is the tools, Cody do you have a pretty goo assorment of tools??? I personally hate working with lack of tools, i can take one of my tool boxes with me and some of my air tools but other than that i cant take anything else, LOL.

Cody, im cool with the hanger idea as long as there is a good assorment of tools..

Lupe, bring all that you want to bring, im telling you man, we'll git-r-dun..

eov32885, bring that header, cold air and the camber kit man, ill put it on.

celticred 03-01-2006 05:15 PM

hey i'll be there if some can install some more cathodes and wire them up good for me.... i suck at these kind of tasks... i don't want to electrocute myself.. my hair is red enough i don't need it be flaming red.... : )

i'm ordering the cathodes tomorrow so they will definitely be in by next saturday...

TTURedRaider311 03-01-2006 05:28 PM

I haven't met any of you guys, but I'm up in Carrollton. I've got an NST underdrive pulley that I need to put on, but I am without air tools to get the oem pulley off. Could someone help me out with this if I stop by? I want to lower my tC on some TRD's, but I don't even know where to start on that install. Could you guys help me out?

dfwaltima 03-01-2006 05:38 PM

Bring it on over brotha, im down for whatever... and the pulley there is a trick to it. LOL..

eov32885 03-01-2006 06:05 PM

Alright Jimmy I got some thing for ya to help install: header, CAI and camber bolts. I was thinking about getting heat wrap for the headers....they do look very nice though, kinda gold/bronze....so I don't know if I should?

hank 03-01-2006 06:23 PM

so what time is all this going start.

dfwaltima 03-01-2006 07:01 PM

If the header is Stainless steel the heat wrap would help with the heat that it releases.. if is ceramic then dont worry about the wrap, the only thing that i dont like about the wrap is that is easy to start a fire if you drop oil or anything flamable on it.

Hank, Im thinking if we do it at my house and all this installs are getting done we need to start early. i know that the springs would be what takes the most. other than that, everything is fairly easy.
