Which tint will look nice on a xB?!?!

Hey everyone! . . .I am re-tinting my entire xB . . . I recently got it tinted, bout a year ago.. but stupid dog scratched them up . .so I wanna know what tint willl look nice, (Color, % , etc) . . and if I should get that flame up front, lol.. I think it looks ghetto, but just lemme know if you think it'll look aight, if you know what I mean bout the flame, it is tint, but it is like tinted a little lighter on the window to make flames.. yeah anyway Help me out. . . and anyone know where I can find, Automatic shifter tips? . . I dont want that black long oval one anymore, I found 2 but only in red and blue, and I was lookin for like Diamond, or Silver.. . . and also Diamond shaped A/C knobs. . .anything "VIP" hit me up :) . . thanks,

-ZACH

I put black 5% tint all the way around. Although i'm going darker in the back with some 2% . I got the solar yellow color so the darker the tint the better it looks

5% is what I have now, I'll never go back either.

If you think something looks ghetto then don't get it.

You can find universal a/t shifters all over the place...ebay, autozone...only bad thing is that 99% of them don't have a place for the overdrive button
The only one with the o/d button that I could find...costs a whopping $113!!! http://www.cardomain.com/item/RAZRA105

Here is a DIY guide to swapping them out (it's from a toyota echo, but looks exactly the same to me)
http://www.echodrivers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=154

That guy used a cheap autozone shifter w/o the o/d button...and he cut a hole in the center console for it

Okay, thanks everyone, this helped alot, lol... and, the 5% . . did you just tint over the factory, or did they scrape of the factory? . .

mafiamike 03-13-2006 03:34 AM

The back windows are "privacy glass." It's not tint. The glass is actually smoked.

And I think you should get red mirror flame tent. As for the shifter, just get a dildo and re-route the over drive button the the balls.

^ LMAO!!!

NewMexicoxBPhatBoy 03-14-2006 11:13 PM

Ewww, red mirror, that'll look ghetto, lol... I'd rather get 5% all the way around.. I think the darker, the better , like dubstar said

mafiamike 03-14-2006 11:31 PM

Okay, but the dildo shifter is an awesome idea. I'd do it...but I've got the quick shifter and I like the TRD know...that stands for Toyota Racing Development, and not Totally Rockin' Dong.

FrankenScion 03-17-2006 12:00 AM

Exactly!

mafiamike 03-17-2006 12:23 AM

Actually, Jon doesn't have any issues with seeing at night because he has HIDs and eats a lot of carrots...well...he puts a lot of carrots in his body, atleast.

FrankenScion 03-17-2006 12:58 AM

Hey, that was our little secret Mike....just like your fascination with cucumbers.

NewMexicoxBPhatBoy 03-17-2006 07:32 PM
