I have been reading a lot of the threads, most were started the middle of last year. The dealers now have demo IQ's, the stock inventory ones will be out by the end of the month.

First, when comparing to other vehicles REMEMBER that Scion pricing INCLUDES destination. Second, all Scion's come standard with power windows, locks, ABS, VSC/Trac, and much more.

The IQ has 11 airbags!!!! 2 front in dash, 2 side in d&p seat, 2 side curtain front and back , 2 knee d&P, 2 seat cushion d&p, rear window both rear occupants.

This is not a stripped down POS, it is well equipped. It has been in production outside the US for almost 3 years. If Scion stands by its plans, that gives us 2 years of US production then it is gone from the global market after a 5 year production run.

It can maneuver almost anywhere, which means you can park it where most other cars dream of being able to fit in. Great for congested street parking or getting a spot near the front of a parking garage.

The ride is fine, I have owned a Echo that had worse pickup and was happy with the Echo none the less. Maybe 3 people and a chilkd seat can fit maximum. Think of the back seat as extra storage that the Smart car or any small compact coupe lacks.

 

I cant wait to see one myself. I like little cars and miss my geo metro I sold a few months ago. I was getting 50 mpg before I let him go, but he had well over 200k miles and needed a tranny and engine rebuild.

I wonder to what extend we can eco mod one for mpg?

 

my local dealer got one the other day, it is white. Haven't stopped and looked at it yet but it definitely looks small.
