Default Kind of urgent tc shifter help needed

Hi Guys,

I just installed my short shifter on my tc tonight. All went as expected (PITA lock washer, seemingly impossible top ball cap, etc.) but I got it all done. Just when I thought that I was in the home stretch, I sprung the little side ball clip off the shifter, and it went straight under the shifter and down the hole into the frame. Right now I have it clipped clevis style with a small finish nail, but am looking for a clip ASAP, and something tells me that the local dealership wont have one in stock.

Anyone with a spare would be a huge help in my situation.

Let me know if you are in the NOVA, DC, Baltimore area.

Thanks in advance!!!

I did. 53 cents later for a pair of "R" clips from Lowes, and I am happy. So is the tC.

Great shifter (39 shipped from ebay), with super short throws, no more missed shifts. Came with aluminum riser bushings that I didn't use as i like a lower profile. All is good.

Next step is either the Megan Springs or the stereo. Cant decide.
