Default Mid Atlantic: Possible Group/Multi Club Go-karting???

Basically my friend who was in the MINIUSA club went go karting with 50+ members at this place.

http://www.allsportsgp.com/

I joined him and it was a really good time!!

Was thinking if we could all get together anytime within a month or so to do stuff like this. I know they have shows on the weekends, but I guess during the work week like a evening would be great.

The format was a 120 lap endurance race where team members of 4 performed and had to change drivers and such.

It would be about 90 bux a person, but im sure some dealers are willing to pick up some of the costs if feasible.

If anyone thinks it can go down and a dealer can help out in the costs ( so that it gets down to like 20 bux a person )

Just a idea

sap, do you know if they karts are manual or auto? i know most of those karts are manual, but with something like this they are probably auto for those that cant drive standard. though it would be sick to have a manual! =]

actually all of the ones we drove at the event last time were automatic. I think the grand prix go karts ( indoor 30mph ones ) are manuals, but the 20mph ones are automatic.

i musta spun out like 3 times haha it was h3lla awesome.

are we able to drive the manuals? or do you have to have a licenses (or pass a test) with them to be able to drive them? or would you recommend just driving an auto with them? haha

i think we can drive manuals but not in the endurance race cause it would be unfair. The cart i drove was freakin awesome and was more then enough to cause me to spin out on hard turns. i wanna go there and try some more left foot braking cause it seems like that helped the most. in either case it was great fun and literally was about endurance.

yea ill call the place and ask em whats the deal. maybe the more people the cheaper we can do it and such. And again dealers do BBQ's and shows and events, and this would proally equal about the same cost with a fixed # of people set.

i think we would have a good shot at it. just call the place and get more details on cost and such. and ill see if CAT is willing to do something like this. because its different than the typically car show, and thats what scions all about! and since its indoor, we can do it when its a little cooler out (because they have alot on their calendar in these months).
