WrEvolution -August 11- SPONSORED BY SCION!!!

Ive already talked to some of you guys about this show, but Im throwing this up on the site for everyone to check out. We have done several shows in the past and this looks like it will be the biggest yet. Bbist has thrown us some great giveaways,. The Tjin Edition Tour will be making a stop featuring several of his high end tuner cars. Our club was picked last fall to be one of 3 car clubs nationally by Scion to build a Scion xA for a team build off at SEMA. This month it is the cover car for HCI magazine ( http://www.iancredible.net/cover.jpg).

DETAILS:
August 11, 2007
5pm-11pm
Lebanon Valley Expo Center

The show will have awards for the top 3 scions in each class (tc, xa, xb).

SOMETHING NEW!!!

We will be presenting an award for the top Scion Team. This means Evolution vs. ScioNrg, vs. CNYScions, vs. Scikotics, vs. SDG, vs. Strictly Scionized vs. any other Scion group out there. Bring out the hottest cars from each team as well as with as many people you can get there. Bragging rights for the East Coast are on the line with this one.

For those of you with interestes outside of the Scion culture, we'll also have a VIP Salon featuring high end cars such as Lexus and BMW, a Euro Audi/VW showcase, and tons of live bands, bike stunts, and prolly a few things you've NEVER seen at a car show before. Plans are still being completed and brought up every day.

I think you'll enjoy the prices too ... this might look a little different than what you are all used to:
pre-register 30 bucks!!!

The Scion showfield will be outdoors!!!

http://www.wrevolutionevent.com/

if you haven't been keeping up to date... head on over to www.wrevolutionevent.com ... we've got alot of new stuff up on there.

Registrations are starting to flow in. this show looks like it's gonna be pretty darn good.

points of interest:
- Scion is now an official sponsor of the show! They've got a ton of things planned out... we'll fill you in as soon as we have all the details set up. In the works includes a Scion VIP pavilion and possibly the first east coast appearence of the Scion Interactive Trailer!!
- DJ Roonie G to perform. You really have to check this guy out to believe it. I've never seen anyone do what he does before. www.roonietunes.com
- DJ Masterpeel aka Nasty Nate who spins on the road for WRteam and MobileSpec will be in the house.
- 2 local monsters - Hierosonic and A Utopian Skyline will be performing.
- Top Scion at the show will win a FREE set of Sport Max wheels
- 3 lucky scion owners will win FREE fujita intakes

- neil tjin will be in the house... along with the tjin edition tour cars.
- gene tjin will be shooting event coverage for HCI magazine
- VIP cars
- tons of Scions
- real deal vw's
- some of the most dedicated teams in the scene... including team solo's biggest east coast gathering to date.
- over 80 different awards! ... yeah that's not a typo error... over 80 of them.
- The Scion xA HCI cover car that we built for SEMA will be in attendance. i know most of central PA never got a chance to see it in person.
- Dozens of HCI and SuperStreet cover vehicles
- stunt bike teams - 2502 will have the Legion and Dirty Jersey crews out doing their thing.
- Bastard on Wheels - as always... they'll be at our event with their sick bmx/skate demo
- and of course... for possibly the first time ever... you'll get to see all of wrteam's top cars in one piece at the same time and same place on display together!
- along with some fine wr girlz.
- much much more to be announced soon.

teams - if you would like to register as a team... contact me directly... we can set up discount pricing and you can just pay one big total instead of having each owner register separately. then we can save a specific block of space for the team in advance.

some other note-worthy information:
- the show is indoor and outdoor... alot of the indoor stuff will be plotted out in advance... but leftover indoor space will be filled on a first come, first served basis saturday morning during roll-in ... there will be a ton of cars inside AND outside though.

- roll-in is saturday morning... starting at 10am... all the way up until 4 or 4:30 for outdoor roll-in. show starts at 5pm.

- friday night set-up will be available for vendors, sponsors, dj's, and some teams and cars that will be parked indoors... even if you're parking outside that is fine... we will have the show area gated off and locked... and although we haven't discussed it yet, we will have people on-site overnight before the show as well.

- mild vs. wild - we are not doing this based on ncca style standards... this will be determined when you roll-in, however, the standards will be different.

mild will be cars with mostly bolt-on type modifications.
wild will be cars with more than 3 or 4 WILD modifications.
wild modifications would include:
- motor swap
- wide body
- motor that's fully built w/ supercharger/turbo and nitrous
- RHD conversion
- lots of fabrication work (ex. custom rollcage, metal wide body, etc)
- 2-tone, triple-tone or airbushed complete vehicle
- etc... i think you get the picture.

... less than 2 months away now! i hope you're ready!
We (wr and tjin) will be giving away the following products throughout the course of the night:

- Magnaflow Exhaust
- Status Racing Seat
- Stewart Warner gauges
- BDL Fuel Rail and oil cap
- Ignited switches
- Realm audio system
- Turtle Wax / ICE gift basket
- Limited Edition Tuesday Afternoon T-Shirts
- Limited Edition Tjin Edition T-Shirts
- Limited Edition Tjin Edition Tour T-Shirts
- Vibrant pedals and shift boot

i'll be there!

mke07 Feb 21, 2007 12:27 AM

that's a great price for an indoor event.!

VIET_BOX Feb 21, 2007 02:17 AM

is steve bbist going to be there himself?

Big_Bird Feb 21, 2007 02:21 AM

im down, for sure,
will def have my rims by then, saweet!

ih8civx Feb 21, 2007 02:39 AM

Not sure if Steve will be there or not. He was a part of our Xa build too. It'd be cool to see him there.

Big_Bird Feb 21, 2007 02:43 AM

how big is the venue suppose to be?

ih8civx Feb 21, 2007 03:02 AM

venue: lebanon expo center and fairgrounds
date: august 11th
website: www.lebexpo.com
location: just outside lebanon
5 minutes from the turnpike. 30 minutes from downtown harrisburg. convenient for us. convenient for all the local people. and more convenient than our old location for anyone travelling because it is located so close to the turnpike.

there are 4 various sized convention halls... the big one being about the size of the york tunerwar inside portion.

our thoughts on how to layout the show will be:

north hall - stage, bastard on wheels, vendor booths, Neil Tjin Turtle Wax rig and vehicles, show cars.

west hall - teams, show cars

east and southeast halls - we can fit about 20-25 in each of these rooms. do an all vw/audi room and stick with the blitzkwrieg idea we had been doing on the roof... and then do a VIP room featuring the east coast Junction Produce cars.

centre/commerce hall - the Wr cars will be on display

we figure we can fit about 150-200 cars inside, along with sponsors, vendors, and some of the entertainment. behind the building we could have a stunt bike thing going on again and also the rest of the show cars... we could fit another 150-200 outside if needed.

the facility has exclusive food rights... and can serve food inside and outside ... there is a nice dining area with tables and chairs. plenty of electric ... trash cans and bathrooms are plentiful..

here is a look at the floor plan for the inside. the booths that are marked off are 10x10 squares, to give an idea of the size of the place.

wow this sounds crazyyy!!! im deff lokin forward to this!!!! why not make the show longer?? its only a one day show why not open sooner??? is that possible??

moneybaker Feb 21, 2007 04:16 PM

5pm-10pm is basically the time frame when events will be going on during the show... we're gonna try to allow everyone to roll-in and set up saturday morning though... we know that dropping your car off at the venue the night before can be somewhat of a hassle. we won't start giving out the awards til 10 or maybe even 10:15/10:30 depending on the turnout ... so technically speaking, it can be an all day experience for you guys but the show is only open to the public in the evening. we already distributed some promo flyers that say 5-10pm on them, but realistically we'll do roll-in til about 3 or 3:30pm and then start judging the cars right away.

ElChupacabra Feb 21, 2007 04:21 PM

Thats because a lot of the MidAtlantic members were at our show this past weekend. Rich, Tango, Viet, the lady from Manasass. I think Midatlantic had more members then Northeast at the show.

wrmx6 Feb 24, 2007 03:11 PM

just remember guys. The scion field will be all together, so we most likly will have indoor and outdoor show fields. We are expecting over 300 cars for this event.

Last time was 330 with no scion involvement, so we may topple the 400 mark!

I look forward to seeing all you at the event!
