center caps
the center caps on my rims don't stay in on the front cause the center bolt sticks out just far enough
http://nolvex.freepgs.com/cap.jpg if anyone has 2 caps that bulge out in the center so it can cover my rims, it would be much appreciated =) In return, I can fix your computer or something, I can fix Windows 95/98/2000/2003/XP systems, and Linux (Ubuntu, Debian) systems |
woah man... maby try talking to kevin (remi) from discount tire and see what he can do for you
|
Time to bust out the spraypaint...

sounds like your offset on those rims are off.
How far is it sticking out? Cause it its only an eighth og an inch I'd say take the wheel of and take a metal file to it. Or a grinder of some kind. Has anyone else put those rims with that offset on a tC? If not I'd say you got the incorrect offset, but if they have then I am puzzled. Please let me know cause you have my attention on this one |
he is now getting them grinded down on friday..and brian he got from ebay
|
^Ahh, I got mine from ebay and the offset was not as listed. So I feel your pain. I had to put in the oneton garage shims just so I could clear the rear control arm and put these rims on.
When you grind it do just a little at a time. I had to grind a peice of my control arm down and you dont want to overgrind. It took a while to do because we had to keep putting the wheel on and off. We used a dremel. |
