HELP! tc exhaust

so i just got my tanabe exhaust in and i had it all jacked up and everything. the problem i ran into are the bolts with springs. i can't for the life of me get these damn things off! i sprayed a crap ton of wd-40 and TWICE and let it sit for a good 20-30 min each time and still nothing. i was hoping to have this done by friday (4/23) to show off to my friends :P if anyone can give me some advice that would be great.

I had problems with that too. You need alot of elbow grease. I had to use this long pipe as a breaker bar. Not fun. LOL

well i'm worried that if i try too hard something will break. there's a lot of swaying going on down there when i try to turn these things. should i worry about something breaking?

If you're worry about something breaking you can always go to a mechanic you know. I had trouble taking my aftermarket muffler off and I took it to my mechanic and he did it for free.

try using a breaker bar or a compressor

When I changed my s-pipe I used some PB Blaster, that stuff is AMAZING, I highly recommend that for getting hard bolts out.

I use the pb on almost everything i take off. works great if you can leave it over night.

pb blast FTW. breaker bar or two wrenches end-to-end if you dont have one
