Should MN Scions merge with Scikotic's?

Here are my thoughts
I have been thinking of merging with Scikotics. Our numbers are dwindling, and organization is bad. I think in the end it would be best for everyone if we had one big "active" club, with a website.

I spoke through pm, to nochrch, and he seems all for it.

What is the downside?

Well, Rich designed our logo, so there is wasted time for him. Plus Kelly bought us all those nice shirts AND paid for them to be printed. I'm stubborn and dont like change, plus I dont want the club I have been leading to be a complete failure.

My vote is yes.

 

I would have to agree...we were here and tried to get something going but it would be a lot funner and i think in the end bigger if we all stick together. I had a lot of fun at the Scikotics meet at the mall. Also from a dealership stand point, it's a lot easier to promote events for one club rather than a couple of things going on. I do hate to see MNScions go but we can still wear the shirts with pride! And it's not like it's going..we are just adjusting....

 

my vote is for yes, and change the name to MN ____zus just a thought

 

i voted no... now hear me out

first off i love the scikotic name. thats the first thing that got me interested. once i checed out the club i discoverd i really like how it was ran (funny things like HMFIC and VMFIC) its pretty dam cool cool sounding. in my mind the bennifits (and there are some good ones) dont justify the costs

I think it's a good idea. I mean the more people that can unite as Scion owners the better. What does it matter really, what "club" name we're under. I'm open to whatever is decided. Currently I'm a member of both, so to me it doesn't matter either way. It would just be nice to get together more often, and have some fun with our Scions, and if there's a chance to get more people united, if we merge, then that would rock!!

I personally think it is a great idea. We all have interest in the same vehicle make. The more the merrier.

Is there a fee to join?

 

no fees to join, like most clubs..the only thing that would come out of your pocket would be sticker and a tshirt...sticker from 7to 15 bucks and the shirt only 10bucks.....
i know ya had already spent some money to get ya'lls started but sometimes it doesn't work, talk to head Mother F@#$# In Charge of scikotics in your city and he will most likely help you guyz on anything ya need

 

at the end we all family, if you decide to stay with your club, don't forget that they are there, cool people to hang around with....

 

I don't understand what "costs" he is talking about it either.

I don't see how this could hurt anybody, everybody benefits in the end.

 

three are more then just money costs... there are opportunity and time costs aswell... in the end you guys are gong to do w/e you want to do and this isnt going to matter but its my opinion

 

I'm game if you all are! I just think the bigger the club get's the better. We just started a few short months ago and are already over 200 members strong. If you have any ? or concerns feel free to contact me!

 

OK, thanks fro clearing that up. I am waiting to hear back from one other person before we go forward. Although MN Scions technically belongs to me, I dont want to leave anyone out of the decision process.

I dont think we have a choice on the name. I'm pretty sure we will just lump in with you all, if the leader will have us.
