This is why you wear your seatbelt EVEN IN THE BACK SEAT no one would have died otherwise because the integrity of the vehicle was completely intact

same here, the car is not moving until everybody is locked in to their seats...

Oh, man that is a tragedy. With more individuals in the car, the corner weight is a lot heavier. I also hope the mom was not seriously injured.
