Well, something must be wrong with yours though. My xA have done up to 116 and there's no difference with the xB, other than the car shape. That's weird.

well one thing is hp ad the second thing is it is limited by the ecu. so only way to get rid of it is to replace the ecu with maybe an ecu from a matrix or echo

ECU'z mess with alot more than just tha top speed, i'd only feel comfortable putting in something strickly for my xb. even though they have the same motor. i've been lookin around ebay and google'n ECU'z but ive found nothin yet.

I overheard some friends of mine talking who own xAs and tCs. apparently it depends on automatic vs manual tranny and the model year has influence as well.

Why dont you just try removing the governor and letting her rip!

I believe URD has an ECU speed unlimiter for all toyota engines. Not sure if ours are covered though. Contact 'em, they should be able to tell you if it will work in your vehicle.

My box is auto has gone over 100 many times, I've gone as fast as 110. Not that the car stopped me, I stopped me.

i've gotten my car to 110 as well but it normally stops at 100 and then pushes very slowly to 105 and sometimes 110. i have an aem cold air intake and i just got an axle back exuast and i can definately feel alot more power top end. i can hit 90 mph in 3rd but as soon as i reach 100mph in 4th it just stays there.

I love how they claim it's for "dyno use only."

2004 hot lava & i hit 106 this weekend with no problems. are you going down hill when you hit 100? i know that if youre going that fast & then down hill it will down shift but never had it down shift any other time.

let me clear this up a little. i can get to 105-110 if i'm pushin it. but the governor eliminator still kicks in at 100. on the way to HIN on saturday i hit 100 in third and i just want to get all i can out of the motor. i have a local speed shop doin some research on the ecu or eliminator for me.
