Hey everyone,
My name is Travis I'm from upstate NY (Syracuse). I will have a 1gen TC 08-09 shortly, by the end of next month. Currently driving a Honda Del sol. Not new to the turner seen, have done both interior and exterior work on several cars and bolt-ons with several cars as well. I have always worked NA however, not had the change (or bankroll) to get into anything serious (yet).

I will only be buying a 5 speed, black tc. Looking currently at some low mileage ones in PA (due to them not using salt in the winter ).
1st "mod" will be to get this thing undercoated because being up here we have some pretty bad winters and we use a TON of salt on our roads . I'll be doing the grill debage and remove the TC from the rear. After that will be tint and a sub in the trunk, and a S2k antenna. Then swapping the deck, I am not sure how the speakers are in this thing and what their dimensions are so they may get replaced as well. From what I understand there are 4 speakers, 2 tweeters? I'm a huge fan of Apline's R series, so if I do a swap that's what will be going in, however I might need to find a spot to mount the 2nd set of tweeters. Plenty more to come as this will be a car i stick with for hopefully at least 4 years.
I have not seen a lot of black tc's I don't know why, I think they look great. Any questions etc. let me know. Thanks
