Default Scion Racing

Just picking your minds. Do you guys miss seeing Scion racing at drag racing events? Do you feel that it helps in selling after market parts and cars. Do you also think it helps in getting people into the brand? Please give me your input on how you feel.

Yes I definitely enjoy seeing the Scion race cars out there (have one myself in road racing/time attack).

Will it help get people into the brand, doubtful due to the stereotype placed on scions. The "buyers" that would be paying attention to motorsports are the ones who hate on it and think it's cookie cutter, largely in part due to Toyota's marketing behind the Scion line.

And the other people who don't pay attention to motorsports...well, you won't reach them, cause they simply don't pay attention to this side of the equation.

So many Scion hate from other "wannabe" enthusiast, who mis-inform more people about what this car is capable of, it just breeds more haters. Even though 99% of them have no valid reason to hate other than to just ride the bandwagon, perception is reality to a lot of people. That even holds true to people who have Scions themselves. Mis-informed about their own vehicle....it's sad really.
