Default CALLIN OUT ALL 18" RIM OWNERS IN NYC

wassup wassup people. Im in the market for some 18's for my tc. My friends been telling me that 18's would be just a horrible idea in NY. I drive around the city often. I find myself in queens maybe 3 times a week. anyone dent up their rims? pictures of ur 18s would also be nice, so i dont get the same ones..q=P thanks in advanced

lol it depends on how good you are at avoiding potholes. If youre always conscious about it, youll be fine. I know lots of people who have been on 18s for over a year and they havent had any problems. I say wait till the spring and go for it.

lowered + 18s might not be that wise on a daily driver...
esp. with highway construction going on these days

Boston = NY in terms of roads.... I think 18s is the cutoff. Ive had 3 lowered cars, all on 18's and never had an issue. Just be careful and cautious at all times.

wow.. ok.. this is a pretty old thread but eh..

anyways.. mmm... im pretty good at avoiding potholes and im lowered on hotchkis soo.. its pretty low.. i drive around 100 miles a day so im not sure if 18s are good for me..
