I got my NCCA Membership today!

Hey everyone!

I got my NCCA booklet and membership card today. I know my car is still stock but its still fun to be an "official" member.

And if anyone who hasn't shown at a NCCA show this year needs to take a look at the rulebook, let me know!

Maybe someday I'll take Tim, Shawn, Kekai, Dustin, Doug, & Nick on

Grrls rule!!!

Okay, what is NCCA?

but congrats! go to lots of shows and get those points!

Only disadvantage to the NCCA.... only like one show in the PNW that they put on..... HIN. maybe next year they'll have more...

But, CRAZY hard for points for Scions.... the xB has some cool advantages in regards to uniqueness and rare JDM parts (valuable points there)... but the points structure is tough... you need a TON of money/parts to get full points in most categories....

My beef with HIN.... with most makes/cars... (We're still lucky with our Scions) it's virtually impossible to win without over 30-40k invested in your ride... it's a tough field there.... REALLY tough... Next year will be even harder... Even with me putting in the huge amount work and intense mods this winter, I'm not sure by next year I'll be able to compete in that show...

It's nice to get that rulebook and nice to be a gold member and get access to score sheets.... they reveal a lot...

^ its even tough when you have 30-40k. My friend had invested a total of 80k into his car over 4 years - reinventing his 2001 Toyota Celica just about every show season and he never won best toyota for it. Reason - a celica will 99 percent of the time not win next to an MR2 (especially an MR2 that was showing at that time cough DAVE cough lol) or a Supra

Not true. You just need to know how to build your car to score in every category.
