Default License Plate LED Swap help for tC

So I have had my LED’s for my license plate for a few weeks. I can’t figure out how to remove the old bulbs.

Everywhere I have found online says to just remove the cover on the back, it just pops off which it does and then they say to disconnect the bulb power wire which was easy. Then they say to twist and pull the bulb out. My question is how? It will not twist, or pull out anyone have more specific info on how to pull the bulb out.

I am sure I am missing something simple here. I have an 07 tC

Twist counterclockwise and pull out.

It's real tight, I used some pliers to twist the socket.

Co-sign with Tu. I actually did this last weekend, too. That thing was a bear. I'm convinced that bulb socket was heat-shrunk in there somehow. Once you get it out one time, it's gonna be easy everytime thereafter.

I ordered all of my LED's from http://www.oznium.com/ they were great. You can find them cheaper on ebay sometimes.

I'm not sure who you're asking, but I'm looking to get white because I've been told it's the only legal color you can use???

just go to ebay and type in 194 led's or 194 bulbs and if you want find a guy on there that goes by warden_jp2002 his are cheaper and work just as well and he has a ton of different colors and leds

i know there are laws about color, but i have red ones, have had many a cop behind me at night, never said anything.......as fo oznium....im still skeptical of them considering my first purchase from them (green dash led's) i had them in for less than 6 months and one is burnt out.....LED's arent supposed to burn out, as far as i know the only way to kill an LED is to over power it or it is cheaply made

I got white for my license plate, it looks like what you see on the Lexus vehicles. As for quality so far I don’t have any problems with the xB but it has only been three months. I also swapped out the dome light, white in the xB, and blue for the tC with white Map lights.
