A look at Downtown Seattle and the Eclipse
Here is a look at last nights Eclipse and a quick picture of Downtown Seattle.
The Moon and Saturn...even though that was shot at 1/3, it still blurred. Proves how fast we spin.

If you look close enough, you can see a Seal with it's head up.

nah, tripod
The Eclipse shot was a pain cause I'm stuck at f/6.3 at 300mm. I need to invest in a 2.8 throughout the range so I could have gotten away with at least 1/30th or 1/60th.
Tripod, Tripod, Tripod
No idea why I said Handheld

Great shot of the city. My wife and I are really into taking scenic photos. Well done. What camera were you using I have a panasonic DMC-FZ7 I take it every where really takes great photos. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
That looks amazing-I was just in Seattle last weekend and stayed on the 30 floor of the crowne plaza (my girl gets the rooms ta like 20% of reg price)-those photos look every bit as amazing as it did in person.
Yeah-for what they charge regularly I would have felt very ripped off. Twin beds-WTF! Have to use Valet parking at $30 a day-not a big fan.
Great view though. Easy to get to from Portland too (easy exit access)

Thank you everyone!
The camera is a Canon Digital Rebel XTi, 10.1MP, DSLR. I got sold the Canon S3 IS for the XTi. Lenses are the Tamron 28-80mm, Tamron 70-300 and Canon 50mm f/1.8 I'm looking at getting the Sigma 17-70 2.8 for The Bond of Bellevue, and later down the road, the $1500 beast; Canon 70-200 f/2.8L
