Pacific Northwest owners CHECK-IN!

Welcome to the pack, magnetic.
Don't worry 'bout not being able to drive a stick smoothly - ALL of us looked (and felt) like idiots when we were just learning to shift for ourselves...
Give it a little practice and a little time and you'll look back and wonder what all the fuss was about.

Hey all you newcomers. Just wanted to welcome you to ScionLife and let you know that one of the midwest's best clubs for Scion owners is forming out here in Washington. We have chapters starting in Wenatchee, and Northern Puget Sound.
We are ScikoticS!
www.scikotics.com
Please see the following post for more information about us.
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=81245
*We are more casual than most.
*We don't charge dues.
*Input from all members is not just welcome but encouraged.
*We try to get together at least every couple of weeks but it is not required.
*Club participation awards at shows are MORE IMPORTANT than individual awards.
*The people are always viewed as more important than the cars. (And the cars are important, so imagine where that puts you. )
*We have 2 club sponsors, www.strup.us and www.perfectlyround.com and we are working on more.
Welcome to the Pacific Northwest if you're a recent transplant, and more importantly, WELCOME to one of the best car ownership experiences you'll ever have!

Nice one Dave. Love the shifter. Thinkin it might look good in mine. I got kind of a blue theme going on. Is it a TRD/Scion shifter, or aftermarket? (In other words, could I get some info on it? PM me)
Where in Redmond? I work there Fri's and Sat's and we could have a mini-meet during my lunch break. lol
Welcome!

I work off NE 40th Street and 520. Yeah its the TRD short shifter and shift **** is by OBX Racing Sports that I picked up from the dealer as well. I prob could have save some cash but I wanted it all right then from the dealer.
You can order the shift ***** from this site:
http://scionsport.com for like 29 bucks.

I work right off the Redmond Way 520 Exit. My facility backs up to the offramp even. Right on.
Thanks for the link. I think I just might buy it. :D
This may come off as a dumb question, but oh well...
It only lists it for the xB (not the tC) and it says for manual transmissions ONLY..
It;s a SHIFT **** (does it matter what kind of trans. you have?) and would it fit the tC?

Hi, I'm Steve. Eighteen years old; North Bend, Washington.
I got my 2006 Scion xA . . . I think on August 9th. Salsa Red Pearl with 8-spoke, iPod headunit, silver OBX pedals and the cargo tote. Nothing really special, but I was low on cash and the extended warranties sucked me dry—I'm still wondering if they were worth it? I'm thinking about things to add to or modify on my xA, but I'm too scared to ruin it in some way. . . .
