It was my first mod i did on my own. I was surprised the check engine light did not come on after installing it in the rain... which btw i wounded up getting a minor cold from doing that well worth it. I try to be creative on everything i do with the tC. I just dont know shi* about aftermarket parts and installing and all. So I made this forum to help me and others to get creative and point out things and well i guess its a creative-help forum lol. I do what i can with what i have plus i am one of those deal hunters haha!

Ok So I have yet to see anyone do this so I guess I will be the first Here is my HID Kit at different angles:

After Install:

While On The Road:

With the LED Parking light (Just to compare)

Parked Angled View:

Parked Leveled View:

Atleast it would help someone for a general idea on how they are at certain angles and views.

Ok so here I did this mod but the wires are different than the earlier models so here are pics to help you out and the link https://www.scionlife.com/forums/scion-tc-1g-ice-interior-1647/diy-make-your-tc-chirp-honk-factory-when-locks-pressed-47024/ responsible for my mod so i only take credit for showing you the 2008 Scion tC 1st gen lock motor wires:

here we go:

Ok so first i did what Fhe1079 said removed the kick panel on the left side so then i looked at the wires in my 08 vs. his.

Mine are different so here is the picture of the two wires you need and yes its still the grey plug:
Now once you look its the bottom two wires blue and pink

once you have the wires found; before tapping them run them throught the grommet under the dashboard like this:

then connect your new BLACK wire to the BLACK wire and your new RED wire to the RED wire on your 12V siren or buzzer. now before you go crazy and hookup the siren and start tapping. When you wire tap them make sure you have one RED wire and one Black Wire. Wire tap the PINK wire to the RED wire and the BLACK to the BLUE wire.

Then proceed back to the engine bay and mount your siren or buzzer. Mine is mounted between the car and my intake. I figured great spot because there were already holes there. before looking at the pic below just note i recycled the siren from my wife's old car alarm to do this mod :D now she makes noise and i saved the environment!!

it sounds like this!
I am not responsible for damages done so that is all on you. any questions just ask.

It is and will be on the edge of what i want to deal with on the daily drive, but it is worth it for autox. If i didnt do that, i would likely go back to a softer setup.
