PRIVATE PARTY CLASSIFIED (PPC) RULES AND REQUIREMENTS

You must achieve Member status (15 posts+) before you can post in PPC.

We implemented this rule to reduce the amount of bogus sales that go on in our Classifieds. It has worked extremely well and although we get a few complaints here and there
(from new members looking for a fast sale) it has nearly eliminated complaints between traders.

There is now an ADDITIONAL requirement that you must have been a registered user of ScionLife.com for a minimum of 15 days in order to start a thread in the PPC forums.

15+ relevant posts and 15+ days to start a thread in PPC is the rule.To post a new topic in PPC you need to be part of the 'Member' user group. To check if you are authorized view your public profile and you should see 'Member' under your username (assuming you have 15 posts).
Members are automatically added as they reach 15 posts, although there is a bug every once in awhile. Let us know if you should have access and you don't and we will fix it as soon as possible.

Anytime you post a new topic or a reply it will be recorded in your account. If you post bogus posts just to bump your post count up then the mods will get mad at you, hunt you down and torture you...or just ban you.
Some forum area posts are removed if they have no replies within a certain period of time, so if you posted many posts in those forums then when the messages were pruned your post count went down when the posts were removed!

• This area is for PRIVATE PARTY sales only, there will be no commercial sales here.
• "Group Buys" must be in the Sponsored Sales forum.
• All Private Sales Must be posted here. Including items that are "Local Pick-Up Only."

• Make sure you include a DETAILED description of your product, photos are encouraged, and asking price.
• Also, don't forget to provide your contact information! (Email, Phone Number (optional), and Location)

• Please do not reply to a post unless you need more information.
• If you think the price is too high or the product is not to your liking, please do not hassle the seller.
• If you see a post that violates any of the rules, please click the button and the Scion Staff will take care of it.
• No Sale Jacking. Please start your own thread.
• If your item is sold, please go back to your original post and edit the subject line and place -SOLD- in the subject, then we will lock it.
• All sales are at the seller's and buyer's own risk. ScionLife.com is not responsible for any transaction between buyer and seller.
• It is recommended that you keep a record of all communications between buyer and seller until both are satisfied with the transaction.
• Please settle disputes between yourselves, it is not the mod's or admin's responsibility to act as a referee if there is a disagreement.
• It is suggested to NOT use the "Gift" option in PayPal for transactions. Doing so removes ALL PayPal protections should the product or service be a problem...

* Casual mention of firearms in threads is no problem, but sales of any sort we really need to keep ScionLife.com out of, especially with the differing laws and regulations across the country and the world. So, that means no PPC firearms sales.
